Is RecoveryMagic similar to the Windows XP restore command? |
|
RecoveryMagic and Windows XP's Restore command are very different in both concept and function. Windows Restore command is a repair tool for corrupt and missing files. It can (but not always) restore corrupt system configuration settings by identifying and reconstructing the defective files. However, if a virus attacks your PC and corrupts or destroys files and configurations, the Windows Restore command is completely incapable and helpless in restoring your system's environment, the cause of the corruption, the virus, remains on the hard disk drive. In contrast, RecoveryMagic returns all your files and system configurations exactly back to the OEM configuration after a virus attack and even in cases where Windows will not start. |
